Playing with shading.

I quit the fourth time I dropped my teeny, tiny, almost-impossible-to-see needle. Between the needle and the single strand of the six strand embroidery thread, stopping until there was daylight seemed like a good idea.

I'm off to cut a few 100 4-inch squares for the back of the raviolis.

I hope you had a great weekend.

  1. Stitching at night has become increasingly challenging for me ... likewise, the quality of winter light, even in daytime, just doesn't cut it for photos. I can't wait for spring to return (usually in late February here in Texas)

I'm loving the sections you formed a few days back and this rainbow river running through.

  2. I, too, must echo Liz A's feelings about adequate light for stitching. Everything is getting smaller except my waistline! Your stitching is coming along so nicely. Mine is "pending."
